2020 ARTS PROGRAMMING GRANT FUNDS AVAILABLE
Shippen Manor meeting for organizations seeking 2020 arts funding
On Tuesday, October 29, 2019 and Friday, November 1, 2019 at 5 pm, mandatory grant application workshops will be held at Shippen Manor, 8 Belvidere Avenue, Oxford, NJ. All arts projects must benefit Warren County residents. These workshops will provide grant applications, guidelines, and answer questions concerning the application process. Attendance at only one meeting is required.
Part of each workshop will include ADA compliance. Prospective applicants must attend one workshop. Arts projects and programs supported by Warren County Department of Land Preservation, Division of Cultural and Heritage Affairs grant funds must be presented in ADA compliant locations. Mini Grants will also be covered. Please note: Attendance at only one meeting is required. Attendees may not represent more than one organization.
The workshops are presented by the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Division, supported by the Warren County Freeholders, and are funded in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts. Shippen Manor is located just west of the Route 31 traffic light in Oxford. Accessible parking is available.

$51,366 Awarded for the Arts by the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Division of Land Preservation in 2019
Nineteen organizations are sharing $51,366 in Arts Grants funding for their arts programming in 2019. The arts grants are available in the fall of each year for organizations that provide arts programming for the people of Warren County at an accessible site.
Grant recipients for 2019 are: Abilities of Northwest NJ, Inc., Belvidere Heritage, Inc., Friends of Warren County Library, Hackettstown Community Band, Knowlton Township Historical Commission, Lopatcong Township PTA, Lopatcong Township Recreation Committee, Morris Canal Committee, Music at Saint Luke’s, New Jersey Civic Youth Ballet, Rutherfurd Hall Foundation, Warren County Arts Corp., Warren County 4-H, Warren County Community College – Visiting Authors Series, Warren County Community Singers, Washington BID, Washington Borough PTO, Washington Township PTA, and Water Gap Singers, Inc.
This Arts Grant program is sponsored by the Warren County Cultural & Heritage Division of Land Preservation, supported by the Warren County Freeholders, and funded by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts. The funds are derived from a dedicated New Jersey tax on hotel and motel occupancy and do not impact property or income taxes. FY2020 Grant applications will be available in mid-October.
