FREE SHIPPEN MANOR SUNDAY LAWN CONCERTS BEGIN AUGUST 1st, 5 – 7  PM

Warren County’s Division of Cultural and Heritage Affairs is pleased to announce that our free Sunday lawn concerts will return this Fall on August 1st, with special guests Kinderhook!

Kinderhook, a six piece high energy country rock act, has appeared at the Stone Pony, the Stanhope House, Roxy and Dukes, and festivals throughout the Northeast. All members are lead singers, giving the band its distinctive vocal presence. Kinderhook contains a unique blend of original music mixed in with their own takes on classic cover songs. Kinderhook includes: Jerry Kopychuk – Vocals, Andy Fediw – Bass, Craig Barry – Drums, Jim Ryan – Pedal Steel, Gary Oleyar – Fiddle, and Jack Kurlansik – Electric Guitar.

The Shippen Manor lawn is just west of the Oxford Route 31 traffic light. Bring lawn chairs, blankets, alcohol free coolers, picnic baskets, and significant others for a free concert by Kinderhook.

This free concert is sponsored by the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Division of Land Preservation, supported by the Warren County Board of County Commissioners, and funded in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts. New Jersey State Arts funding is derived from a dedicated hotel/motel occupancy fee, and does not impact property or income taxes. The Shippen Manor lawn is reasonably accessible and accessible lavatories are available. Individuals preferring speech or hearing assistance may call the relay service at 711.
