Beginning February 1, 2020, Warren County’s White Lake Natural Resource Area will be maintained by the New Jersey Youth Corps and will remain overseen by the Warren County Department of Land Preservation as it has been for nearly 20 years. We thank the Ridge and Valley Conservancy for their partnership and conscientious stewardship of White Lake these past several years. White Lake has always been a special place and we understand how important it is that we continue to meet the community’s growing expectations under this new partnership. The NJ Youth Corps has done an excellent job maintaining all other county parkland for over 10 years and we assure the community that White Lake will continue to be well-maintained and well cared-for. This department is also currently in talks with other service providers to continue offering the popular free kayaking rentals and yoga classes at White Lake. Additional information about these offerings will be forthcoming.
